We serve 2 gourmet menus. The menu Edward 1er (3-courses) changes every day. And we propose menu Eléonore, which gives you a choice between several soups, starters, main courses, cheeses and desserts. From these suggestions you can create your own 3, 4 or 5-course dinner. Our chef will take of course into account special diets or other imperatives (f.e. dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian). Please just let us know in advance. In the summer you can dine on our terrace within the walled garden of the hotel.
Also very important ! We have a wine list with more than 60 references. Mostly from the wine areas close by, but also others.
Bottle prices range from € 21 to only € 45 as Arjan likes to surprise you with good and exceptional wines and very affordable prices.
Gwenaël Gauthier, our head chef since 2008, enjoyed a classical culinary training. His international experience via renowned restaurants has given him the inspiration to use beautiful Périgord ingredients to present exquisite food in both classical and contemporary manner.
All our dishes are prepared with fresh and seasonal products to accentuate the pure flavors. Of course all is home-made and prepared with love. For the bread and ice-cream we use the talents of local artisanal suppliers. They also do not add any food additives.
Our vegetables & fruits come from the area; our herbs are from the garden. Our meat comes from the vicinity where ever possible and our fish is delivered directly from Bordeaux & Arcachon. Our cheeses are from local cheese makers.
